Master of Arts in specialist musical interpretation

The Master’s in specialist musical interpretation is a very demanding course, providing training to a small number of students who have displayed exceptional capabilities in terms of artistic or research activity.  

There are two types of skills that candidates will be asked to show during the selective admissions tests: a remarkable artistic personality and/or, depending on the field, the ability to conduct research leading to innovative musical practices.

The amount of study comes to a total of 120 ECTS, half of which are dedicated to the study of the main subject. The main subject may be:

  • The practice of a modern or historic instrument,
  • The practice of modern or historical singing,
  • Musical practice and research in the field of medieval music,
  • Conducting an orchestra,
  • Conducting a choir.
