The Haute école de musique de Genève’s International relations department arranges exchange programmes with other music institutions, for the student body and the teaching body alike.
All students registered with the HEM in the ordinary way have the option to go on a foreign exchange for a period ranging from three months to a year. These exchanges may take place with numerous European schools as part of the European mobility programme, and also with institutions from outside Europe. In the latter case, the conditions of the exchange are determined by bilateral agreements adopted with the HEM’s partner institutions.
