By offering students a rich and stimulating pedagogical framework, this Master's program aims to train accomplished chamber musicians, capable of defending a strong, personal artistic vision in a demanding professional environment.
The chamber music option of the Master in music performance, major in Concert Performance, enables students to acquire a deep and sensitive understanding of the repertoire, and to develop a coherent and refined shared interpretation of the musical works written for their training. The program combines high-level artistic training with structured pedagogical supervision, with the aim of preparing young performers to meet the artistic demands of the international scene.
The program's artistic and pedagogical content focuses on the collective interpretation of works from the chamber music repertoire, whether for classical ensembles (trio, quartet, wind quintet, etc.) or for larger ensembles. Students are invited to explore the different styles and periods of the repertoire, to develop a collective musical discourse together, to refine their musical sensibility, and to work in depth on the group's sound cohesion. Work is devoted to the search for a shared understanding of the work, with the aim of a homogeneous and expressive interpretation, respecting both the musical text and the artistic vision of the group.
The Master's program is built around high-quality teaching by renowned professors and guest artists, who share their expertise and experience in chamber music. Teaching focuses on listening, communication within the ensemble, and the development of a shared interpretation in which each musician makes a balanced contribution to the musical discourse.
Beyond performance, the Master of Chamber Music also prepares students for successful professional integration, whether through preparation for international competitions, participation in festivals or the development of personal projects. Students are encouraged to develop projects that enhance their artistic individuality and that can be programmed by concert organizers. The program also includes a teaching unit dedicated to preparation for the profession - career management, artistic communication, networking - to enable future graduates to enter the professional world independently and proactively.
