Support and Technical Production for Musicians

The ARTeM Centre provides technical support and production services to the HEM and its members.

Its services are varied and cover areas such as audio recording, video capture and production, sound engineering, lighting (in the Dufour building), the broadcasting of mixed pieces, technical support for online masterclasses with international partners, etc.

Composed of a team of qualified professionals (sound engineers, technicians, videographers, live electronic musicians), the Centre puts its technical skills at the service of faculty, students and the administration to help them bring their projects to fruition.

The Centre also plays a key role in artistic and educational support. It offers workshops and short continuing education courses, coordinates the acoustics seminar, and teaches the introductory module ‘Acoustics, Recording, and Sound Reinforcement.’ Its expertise benefits the composition class, performer-composers, and the entire HEM community.

Working closely with CIMME (Interdisciplinary Centre for Experimental Music and Media), ARTeM actively participates in the development of innovative artistic practices, particularly in the areas of immersive audio, sound spatialisation and technological creation devices.

ARTeM's involvement extends beyond the walls of the HEM. It collaborates with renowned Geneva ensembles and institutions such as the Ensemble Contrechamps, the Archipel Festival and the Geneva Competition.

Finally, the Centre makes its expertise available to the institution for the development of audiovisual infrastructure in the HEM's teaching, recording and concert halls, thus ensuring an optimal technical environment for educational and artistic activities.
