Placing the design and implementation of original artistic projects at the heart of the learning process, the Master of Arts in Music Project Creation trains a new generation of musicians capable of combining artistic excellence, critical thinking and the ability to design, structure and manage projects independently and professionally.
This master's programme offers an innovative approach to musical practice, focusing on creation, experimentation and the realisation of artistic projects. It supports musicians in developing a personal and critical approach, open to crossovers between disciplines, contexts and audiences.
The programme is aimed at composers, performers and sound creators who wish to think of music as an artistic and societal project.
It promotes research-creation, collaborative work and the co-construction of new forms: participatory performances, sound installations, digital devices, collective, interdisciplinary or transdisciplinary projects.
Students are encouraged to explore the links between music, stage, image, space and technology, to experiment with hybrid formats and to assert their artistic identity.
Supervised by active professionals, they develop conceptual, organisational and technical skills that enable them to design, produce and disseminate their projects independently and in a variety of contexts.
During the programme, students have the opportunity to build a solid network of contacts in Swiss professional structures, particularly through integrative training.
The level of training at the end of the Master's programme is high, enabling graduates to work in a wide range of artistic and cultural fields at the crossroads of creation, production and musical mediation.
