Digital Technologies for Creative Practice, Teaching, and Research
At the Haute École de Musique de Genève, we view digital technologies as a key enabler of both artistic education and institutional operations.
Our digital strategy is aligned with the broader strategic framework of HES-SO Geneva and is developed in close collaboration with the Bureau de la stratégie numérique (BSN) and the Direction des systèmes d’information (DSI). It builds upon their overarching priorities and objectives while adapting them to the specific artistic, educational, and research context of the Geneva University of Music.
Through this strategy, our ambition is to provide a coherent, secure, inclusive, and sustainable digital environment that supports academic excellence, artistic creation, and pedagogical innovation.
The strategy is structured around four complementary pillars, which guide our current and future projects and initiatives.
Improving the Organization and Value of Data
Every day, we process a significant volume of educational, artistic, research, and administrative data. Effective information governance is essential to enhance the quality of our services, support the automation of certain processes, and ensure the long-term preservation of the content produced at the Geneva University of Music.
