Composition for screen

The Bachelor's degree with a main subject in composition for screen, part of the Composition and Theory Department, prepares students for the specific challenges and techniques of composing for moving images.

The program follows the same courses as the composition classes (orchestration, electroacoustic composition, acoustics, musical notation), but also offers specialized courses focused on the relationships between musical and film forms.

The HEM works in collaboration with the HEAD and the ECAL and encourages exchanges and collaborations between students from both institutions.

Through contact with the film industry, students also have the opportunity to meet filmmakers, producers, editors and other professionals in order to gain an understanding of the issues specific to this field.
