Ahmed Belkhodja is a Swiss architect born in 1990 in Lausanne. He has studied in EPF Lausanne, CTH Gothenburg, ETH Zurich, and ETH’s Future Cities Laboratory in Singapore. In addition to his academic training, Ahmed has collaborated with Harry Gugger Studio in Basel, Obra Architects in New York, and Atelier Bow-Wow in Tokyo.
After graduating in Zurich in 2013, Ahmed establishes FALA in Porto, with Ana Luisa Soares and Filipe Magalhães. FALA defends a resolutely optimistic architecture, which has been recognised by numerous prizes, publications and exhibitions, in Portugal and abroad. Recently, 2G/Walther Koenig has published a monograph on the atelier's work, and FALA has received the 2020 Spotlight Award at Rice University in Houston, Texas. Also in 2020, Domus magazine places FALA among the fifty best architectural firms in the world.Ahmed has taught at several institutions in Europe, including the IUAV in Venice and the Royal College of Art in London. He has presented FALA's work in multiple conferences, and has been a guest critic at KTH Stockholm, IIT Chicago, and ETH Zurich.
 

Ahmed Belkhodja est un architecte Suisse, né à Lausanne en 1990. Il a étudié à l’École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, à la CTH de Göteborg en Suède, à l'ETH à Zurich, ainsi que dans le Future Cities Laboratory de l’ETH à Singapour. En complément de sa formation académique, Ahmed a collaboré avec Harry Gugger Studio à Bâle, Obra Architects à New York et Atelier Bow-Wow à Tokyo.En 2013, Ahmed obtient son diplôme à Zurich, avant d'établir l’atelier FALA à Porto avec Ana Luisa Soares et Filipe Magalhães. FALA défend une architecture résolument optimiste, qui a été distinguée par de nombreux prix, publications et expositions, au Portugal comme à l'étranger. Dernièrement, 2G/Walther Koenig a publié une monographie sur le travail de l’atelier, et FALA a reçu le Spotlight Award 2020 à l’Université Rice de Houston, au Texas.
