Federica Martini, PhD, est curatrice, historienne de l’art et professeure responsable du programme Master CCC Critical Curatorial Cybermedia à la HEAD Genève. Ses recherches, projets curatoriaux et publications portent sur l’histoire et la géopolitique des expositions, les croisements entre gestes esthétiques et histoires industrielles et la production d’(in)visibilités dans les pratiques artistiques contemporaines. Elle était chercheuse associée à l’Istituto Svizzero di Roma (2015-16) et à TrAIN (The Research Centre for Transnational Art, Identity and Nation, UAL, Londres, 2022). Auparavant, elle était responsable du Master MAPS (2009-2017) et de la filière arts visuels de l’EDHEA/Valais et membre des départements curatoriaux du Castello di Rivoli Museo d’Arte Contemporanea (Rivoli/Torino), Musée Jenisch Vevey, Musée Cantonal des Beaux-arts/Lausanne et du Festival des Urbaines. Elle est notamment l’autrice de Just Another Exhibition : Stories and Politics of Biennials (Milan : postmedia books, 2011, avec Vittoria Martini), PhD-Making is My Art Practice (Bern : SARN, 2017, avec Priska Gisler), Pour Elle : Marguerite Burnat-Provins (2018, art&fiction : Lausanne, avec Anne Jean-Richard Largey), Blackout Magazine (2018-2021, avec Christof Nüssli), de la série éditoriale On Words (2023, Scheidegger & Spiess, Zurich, avec Julie Enckell et Sarah Burkhalter), Feminist Exposure : pratiques féministes curatoriales et de l’archive (2023, en préparation, Lausanne : art & fiction, avec Julia Taramarcaz).

Federica Martini, PhD, is a curator, art historian and professor in charge of the Master CCC Critical Curatorial Cybermedia programme.
