Possible verse(s): Master Media Design X GIFF

Décembre 2022

How do we build and tell virtual worlds today? How do we merge computer-generated imagery with human bodies in order to build alternative environments that better represent us, our identities and artistic interests?

In collaboration with the virtual production studio Appia, MA Media Design students addressed these questions through the production of mini-movies where they imagined alternative visions for the metaverse. From a feast made out of rotting fruits to fantastical stories on another planet to a place of burial for dead flowers, each produced movie offered new aesthetics for virtual worlds.

A selection of these movies was then selected and shown during the Geneva International Film Festival (GIFF).
