Swann Thommen vit et travaille entre Genève et Saint-Imier (Be). Il est artiste sonore et vidéaste, curateur, label manager et producteur de musique électronique. Ces projets sont réalisés sous des formes diverses allant de l’installation vidéo, la sculpture, la production d’image de synthèse et de photographie numérique. Son travail s’intéresse en partie à la représentation de l’espace architectural et cinématographique entre réel et virtuel. Il expose ses projets régulièrement dans des expositions personnelles et collectives en Suisse et à l’étranger. Il est également le curateur des expositions Format, exposition de photographie contemporaine en plein air, prenant place à Mont-Soleil, dans le jura bernois. Parallèlement à son activité artistique il est actif comme producteur de musique électronique sous le nom de SILIKAT et mène différents projets collaboratifs avec des musiciens contemporains. Depuis 2018 il dirige le Label Lexico Records, label audiovisuel de musique électronique et expérimentale.

Swann Thommen Lives and works between Geneva and St-Imier (Be). He is a sound and visual artist, curator, label manager and producer of electronic music. These projects are carried out in various forms ranging from video installation, sculpture, production of CGI and digital photography. His work is partly interested in the representation of architectural and cinematographic space between real and virtual. He regularly exhibits his projects in personal and group exhibitions in Switzerland and abroad. He is also the curator of the Format exhibitions, a contemporary outdoor photography exhibition, taking place in Mont-Soleil, in the Bernese Jura. Along with his artistic activity, he is active as an electronic music producer under the name SILIKAT and leads various collaborative projects with contemporary musicians. Since 2018 he has been managing the Lexico Records Label, an audiovisual label for electronic and experimental music.
