The International Museum of the Red Cross and Red Crescent has partnered with HEAD – Genève, the International Committee of the Red Cross, the Geneva Red Cross, and the AHEAD Foundation to celebrate the alliance between artistic creativity and humanitarian reflection. This collaboration supports emerging artists and fosters dialogue between art and societal challenges. The prize winner is awarded a residency at the museum to further their research and contribute to collective reflection.
The evening included addresses by Alfonso Gomez, Conseiller administratif, and Thierry Apothéloz, Conseiller d'État, who both participated in the event.
Zahrasadat Hakim has won the Prix Art Humanité 2024 for her work exploring universal human experiences such as fear, hope, and resilience through natural elements. The jury praised the maturity and depth with which she addresses serious topics.
The Public Prize was awarded to Matylda Florez for her work questioning the role of institutions and the strength of alternative communities through installation, performance, and video.
