HEAD x MONTBLANC

February 2019

Workshop Space Activating emotion designs and builds spaces that aim to surprise and touch its visitors/clients.

This projet was led by Simon Husslein assisted by Lara Grandchamp and Arthur Cattaneo, Audrey Dasilva, Laetitia Delisle, Lolita Gomez, Brian Grenier, Kanya-On Khurewathanakul, Hyeryeon Nam, Rosalie Lila Orval, Rébecca Sanmartin.

During a semester, 9 students in Bachelor Interior Architecture created a set of shop windows for the brand Montblanc, around the 1858 watch collection. Inspired by the design of pre-war tourist posters, shop windows unveil, with a succession of colored layers, the return to the sources of the collection. Shop windows were visible from April to May 2019, in the flagship store of Montblanc in Geneva (Place du Port 1, 1204 Genève).

The realization of the windows was the result of a careful research of the students around the values of Montblanc. The aim was to present the new watch collection 1858 in an innovative and inspiring way, through showcases that convey an attractive and positive message with an emotional impact. The 5 windows tell a story: Montblanc's wish is that the experience for potential buyers, but also for any passerby, starts outside the shop.
