Piaget Young Talents Prize 2026

Piaget has the honour of hosting the Piaget Young Talents Prize of HEAD on 26 March at its manufacture in Plan-les-Ouates. This event reflects the Maison’s enduring commitment to supporting the next generation of creative talent.

This prize recognises the research and creative work carried out by second-year bachelor students as part of a workshop initiated within the Piaget manufacture under the guidance of Stéphanie Sivrière, Director of Jewellery and Watch Creation at Piaget, and supervised by David Roux-Fouillet, Head of the Bachelor in Product Design - Jewellery and Accessory programme, and Valérie Ursenbacher, Head of the Chair of Watch Design.

The theme selected for the 2026 edition focuses on watch design and revolves around the flamboyant Piaget Cocktail rings. Candidates were invited to reinterpret these emblematic pieces by exploring the tension between aesthetic demands and the technical constraints specific to watchmaking, in order to propose conceptual and applicable responses that reveal the potential of a dialogue between jewellery and watchmaking.

“The Piaget Cocktail rings embody the Maison’s boldness, virtuosity and elegance. It is a joy to see a project reimagined by the younger generation and, this year, through the prism of watch design. This prize affirms our commitment to fostering transmission between tradition and contemporary creation,” declares Stéphanie Sivrière, Director of Jewellery and Watch Creation at Piaget.

“This collaboration with Piaget is a precious journey, a space where thought becomes gesture and where creative audacity meets the excellence of craftsmanship. At the heart of the workshops and alongside the manufacture’s teams, our students see their intuitions take shape, their research materialise and their ideas become fully realised projects, anchored in the reality of the profession. This experience is deeply rooted in the vision carried by HEAD – Genève, particularly within the Jewellery and Accessories Design department and the Chair in Watch Design, where a fertile and demanding dialogue with the industry is woven day after day,” declares Lada Umstätter, Director of HEAD – Genève.

The ceremony will be structured around key moments including presentations of the finalists’ projects, speeches by representatives of Piaget and HEAD – Genève, the prize-giving, and discussions with the laureates.
