The Centre d’édition contemporaine welcomes Bachelor’s students in Fine Arts (CHROMA track) from HEAD – Genève for a group exhibition that explores the origins of their evolving artistic practice.

Blurred memories, endless archives, accumulated collections, and images in the feed scrolling by too quickly... Furious Thinking dives into the flood of images that are constantly being updated to present a collection of works gathered in a room, like so many personal effects that manage the primal magma of connected subjectivities. Part exercise, part dress rehearsal, and part spring break, Furious Thinking invites students in the Chroma track to create artworks and publications using the images that accompany them—images that question, wound, or heal them—and to break free from the canvas format only to return to it anew. Here you will find mutant PEZ dispensers, Bigfoot slippers, jewelry, dice, cakes, a bed, and a stack of plastic chairs, but also war, the family, songs from distant mountains, and a few monsters.

Organized by Niels Trannois, Cédric Fauq, and Nicolas Brulhart with students from the Chroma (Representation) track.
