The Paléo Festival Nyon unveils the visual universe for the next edition, to be held from 22 to 27 July 2025.
A proposal by illustrator Chiara Pugliese with a flamboyant aesthetic that puts the audience and its communicative energy centre stage.
Take the plunge!
The poster for the next edition of the Paléo invites you to take an invigorating dip in the light! The result of a workshop run by the BaseDesign agency with students from the HEAD – Genève, the 2025 poster invites you to dive into the deep end, the crowd and its infectious energy. Created by artist and musician Chiara Pugliese, currently in her third year of a Bachelor's degree in Illustration, it features an explosion of colour thanks to the use of pastels and Neocolour.
The result is flamboyant, abundant and devilishly effective, thanks to a play of textures, colours and shapes that flirts with abstraction. At the heart of the poster: the incredible energy of the Paléo community, not forgetting a series of mischievous nods to the Festival's iconic infrastructures. ‘This graphic and colourful aesthetic is a playful and ultra-vibrant take on Paléo. The so-called ‘traditional’ pastel work allows me to give the poster a feeling of spontaneity, playing with Paléo's emblematic structures while at the same time offering an abstract rendering, evoking a bath of crowds and light on the Plaine de l'Asse,’ explains Chiara Pugliese.
‘With this poster, I wanted to honour the Paléo audience. This colourful, illuminated crowd represents the incredible energy of the bodies and the vibrant atmosphere during the concerts. It was essential for me to put the audience centre stage and try to convey the unique atmosphere of the Festival visually,’ continues Chiara Pugliese.
It's a joyful, graphic work that will be used on all the Festival's communication media and grounds.
