Collaborative comics workshop: Voisinerie.
HEAD – Genève welcomes you back to the Lausanne International Comics Festival (BDFIL) with a participatory digital comics workshop, led by Arielle Kling and Quentin Coet, graduates of the Bachelor in Illustration program.

Neighbors are the community of a building. What better subject for a collaborative comic strip, where everyone has their say? Family stories, romantic confidences, memories of times gone by, lively discussions about the cleanliness of the common areas - the building's windows become comic strip panels, telling us the thousand and one tales that run through the daily life of this micro-society. Come and make the windows speak, as you try your hand at drawing on a tablet to create a long vertical comic strip in which upstairs neighbors chat with downstairs neighbors, in a building that never ends... We hope you're not afraid of heights!

The workshop is free and open to all ages. Registration on site.

Espace Micro-édition  (Micro-publishing area)
HEAD will also be represented at the Festival's Midro-édition area, where students from the Bachelor in Illustration program will be manning a table.

A veritable marketplace for small-scale producers of comics and illustration, the micro-publishing area features numerous stands selling fanzines, silkscreens, prints of all kinds, custom clothing and other creative bric-a-brac. But it's also a place for up-and-coming artists, with the Nouvelle Vague space dedicated to productions by students from art schools in French-speaking Switzerland, and for the promotion of fanzines, with the presence of the Fanzinothèque genevoise and a fanzine creation workshop for all, run by exhibitors.
