Join us for 24 hours of conversations on social rights, modern slavery and neo-colonialism Geneva - Mexico City and online, 5-6 May 2022!
This 24-hour continuous discussion around the world will focus this year on the struggles against neo-colonialism and modern slavery. The Night will take place online and face-to-face in Mexico City, as part of the World Social Forum, and at HEAD - Geneva.

On this occasion, the book "Inscriptions en relation, des traces coloniales aux expressions plurielles" published by Lars Müller Publishers will be presented. This book retraces the entire course of the eponymous event which took place from 14 to 16 February 2020 at the Palais de la Porte Dorée in Paris. This international and multidisciplinary event, conceived by Ruedi and Vera Baur, allowed for a collective reflection on the voice to be given to absent languages (languages spoken in a place but not inscribed, not represented) in the public space, on their ephemeral right to be inscribed and on the knowledge, often ignored, that they carry.

The 2nd Social Rights Night is organised by Civic City and the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation in Geneva and supported by the World Social Forum Mexico 2022.
