Born in Portugal in 1975, Felipe Oliveira Baptista graduated from Kingston University of London as a fashion designer in 1997. He began his career as a stylist at MaxMara, Christophe Lemaire and Cerruti.

In 2002, he won the Grand Prix at the Festival International de la Mode et de la Photographie de Hyères. He then won the ANDAM / LVMH Fashion Award enabling him to start his own Felipe Oliveira Baptista brand.

In 2005, he won again the same price and parades for the first time at the Semaine de la Haute Couture in Paris. In 2006, he designed a capsule collection for Uniqlo and in 2007 he exhibited at MUDAM, Museum of Modern Art in Luxembourg. The following year, Felipe revisits the AW77 hoodie Nike, and provides an installation at the Festival of Hyères. His work will also be exhibited in Shanghai, invited by the Fédération Française de Couture

In 2009, his brand of ready-to-wear parades for the first time at the Paris Fashion Week.

In 2010 he was appointed artistic director of LACOSTE reinterpreting so noticed the classic crocodile brand. He launched his FOB capsule collection by Felipe Oliveira Baptista .

In 2014, He suspends his business for the brand Felipe Oliveira Baptista to concentrate on LACOSTE the breath of an elegant and contemporary spirit. Felipe Oliveira Baptista will be Jury President of the Défilé HEAD which will be held Friday, November 18 at Espace Hippomène, jury that will award the HEAD Bachelor Bongénie Prize  and HEAD Master Mercedes-Benz Prize, after the show.
