Bourses déliées Design 2016

HEAD–Genève young designers winners of the award by the Fonds cantonal d'art contemporain show their works at Flux Laboratory. Bourses déliées exhibition offers the public an overview of the vitality of succession in the design field in Geneva: six graduates of HEAD–Genève who received a scholarship from the Fonds cantonal d'art contemporain (FCAC) to develop their project are presented in Flux Laboratory space of 5 to 20 October 2016. Opening Tuesday 4 October at 18pm.

These scholarships FCAC is intended for young creators from-e-s HEAD - Geneva. They are awarded by two separate juries, one for the Visual Arts, one for Design. The direction of HEAD–Genève and the FCAC have decided by mutual agreement to modify the device for these scholarships. On the one hand, applicants can now only appear during the year immediately following graduation. Moreover, the exhibition presenting works created by young artists and prizewinner designers are now be distinct to their fields: visual arts projects will continue to be shown Halle North, while those exposed Design this year in Flux Laboratory, place open to exchanges between different forms of creation.
Individual records whose graphics were designed by the unusual collective (Laura Simeon & Joyce Vuille) inform the work of winner-e-s: Malak Mebkhout, Ophélie Sanga, Nadezda Suvorova, Jenifer Thévenaz Burdet, Rob van Leijsen and Li Yu. The work of the winner six-e-s 2014 and 2015 presented this year at Flux Laboratory attest, once again, the diversity of creative young designers in Geneva.
