The Plants and Pathogens laboratory is equipped for the culture and genetic and phenotypic characterisation of bacteria and fungi, for conventional and molecular diagnostics of plant diseases, for the genetic profiling of plants or microbes, the molecular sexing of plants of certain species, genomics of bacteria and fungi, metagenomics and metatranscriptomics, the growing of special horticultural species and in vitro plant culture.
