June 2018

Yvonne Daehler
HAUCH

Dressed in copper silk pants and a simple blue men’s shirt, she steps out of the house barefoot. She looks up, along the property and examines the sky. A whisper of blue, marine and black turning almost to violet here and there, everything appears dark and light at the same time. She sits in the grass, and reads, turning the pages slowly, one by one. Looking inside herself, she knows her style, which is not loud, she knows how to combine things and believes in the power of small details. She’s a visual person, for sure, but while looking at objects, she also feels the need to grab and touch them. The things strewn around the space of the room, on the table, on the floor, tell us about her, about various places, various moments – not everything fits together.

Does anything even belong to her ? She knows how to fall in love. With things and moments, and if she does like something, she knows she does.
