Workshop - Trophée GIFF 2022-2023
GIFF Trophy, Geneva International Film Festival
Design and production of a new trophy, presented each year at the festival's official closing ceremony. The trophy was to be declined in 6 versions, each bearing the name of the winner and the prize.
Students submitted models/prototypes, drawings and samples to be selected and have their proposal produced for the 2022 and 2023 editions of the festival.
The winning project is made up of metal strips united by the GIFF logo, which is only visible from the front. It was produced using SLM (Selective laser melting) 3D printing technology in aluminum, in reference to the 2D/3D relationship between the scupted object and the 2D medium of the film the festival celebrates.
Under the direction of François Dumas.
