Workshop - SEMAINE DE TOUS LES POSSIBLES

February 2025

Semaine de tous les possibles workshop week

Once a year, the Semaine de tous les possibles brings together all the departments of HEAD – Geneva, fostering a collaborative environment between students from various fields such as cinema, fashion, visual arts, multimedia design, interior architecture, and graphic design. This event offers a unique opportunity for students to participate in thematic workshops led by external experts. It serves as a week of exploration, allowing participants to experiment, connect with peers from different disciplines, and engage in intensive work.

In the current edition, the Interior Architecture department has proposed five workshops focused on the design of playful, inclusive, and flexible spatial devices and furniture for the Am Stram Gram theater in Geneva (Am Stram Gram), the exploration and documentation of marginalized spaces within Geneva's camps and the exposure of their human conditions through visual and literary art (Un Camp N'est Jamais Une Solution), the examination of emotional spaces and the development of methodological principles through semantic and installative elements (Savoir Aimer), the creation of upholstered furniture and textile installations for the Interior Architecture department’s space (The Cosmic Thread), and the exploration of the influence of interior spaces on online desire economies by analyzing spatial trends and household objects present in popular porn scenes, proposing future scenarios for reshaping these spaces (The Interiors of Porn).

Through this diversity of workshops, the Interior Architecture department explores the multidimensional nature of contemporary interiors. It examines the convergence of different scales, bodies, places, temporalities, and materialities, whether physical or virtual, close or distant. Ultimately, the department seeks to understand the role of interior spaces in shaping contemporary cities and societies, investigating their impact on our environment and the human/non-human experience as a whole.
