Workshop HEAD Fashion Show

June 2019

As part of the Interior Landscape workshop, students in Bachelor Interior Architecture developed a scenography for the HEAD Fashion Show.

The workshop was led by Leonid Slonimskiy assisted by Bertrand van Dorp.

During a first phase of research and in-depth analyses, students explored several themes: history of the fashion show, human body, backstage, journey, public, light, paradoxes of fashion. The result of the research was a publication that could serve as a practical guide for future fashion shows.

The main objective of each student’s project was to create a strong and powerful concept, whose image will remain longer than the actual life of the fashion show. Special attention was paid to temporary materials and construction details. Conscious of the construction and site constraints, students found creative responses, while respecting the needs of the fashion show.
