Visual identity HEAD Fashion Show 2023
As part of a workshop led by Alice Vodoz and Eilean Friis-Lund from Hélas Studio, supervised by Noémie Besset, Bachelor's students in Visual Communication worked on the visual identity of the HEAD 2023 Fashion Show. The identity chosen was that of Delphine Rozmuski and Ewan Mesa.
The identity project focuses on scraps of materials — jeans, leather, wool, latex, vinyl and metal — accumulated during the creative process of fashion design. Originally destined to be discarded, these fragments become the driving force of the fashion streak’s visual communication. Reimagined as graphic elements, the samples draw attention to the empty spaces created through cutting. The visual identity foregrounds the act of making itself, celebrating the production process while reinforcing the HEAD Fashion Design department’s commitment to sustainability. The indexing work evokes the aesthetics of illustrated encyclopedias, reinforced by the use of Rhymes typeface, drawn by Jakub Samek and published by Maxitype.
