Solar Decathlon  is an academic competition that challenge students' teams to design and build energy-efficient homes on a real-world basis and supply themselves only with solar energy. The winning team successfully combines excellence in design with strategies for optimal energy and water management, not forgetting the innovative character and sales potential of the house.

Open to the public from October 5 to 9 and from October 12 to October 15, 2017, located near 61st & Peña Station on the Denver International Airport train line, Colorado, the event also includes an exhibition on sustainability, educational workshops for professionals and users, events for college students and a community festival in Denver.

The Swiss project "NeighborHub" is now ready to go to the USA and is open on Saturday 10 June, from 10 am to 5 pm, at the smart living lab
