Studio - UN75

January 2020

Studio tutor: Simon Husslein,
Assistant: Sven Högger

Atelier Simon Husslein addresses topics of scenography, immersion and emotions. The current term’s project is carried out in collaboration with the United Nations. We are developing and designing a physical installation to encourage young people to take part in the “UN75” initiative, where people from all over the world come together to discuss ways in which we can collectively navigate the gap between the world we want and where we are actually heading, should current trends continue. After some first research at the start of term, students are now working on their individual proposal for the UN. Each project aims to include the following:

Part 1: Tell the story: Global challenges, 75th anniversary of the United Nations as an initiative to look into the future.
Part 2: Tell visitors about thoughts collected from other people.
Part 3: Ask visitors about their own thoughts and ideas.
