Space Duality in a Virtual Reality exhibition offers a completely new space-related experience, immersive and deeply emotional. The viewer is entering seven different virtual reality (VR) projects while being installed inside or on top of built furniture. This furniture helps the viewer to be transportated into an unseen environment full of surprises. While some of the projects have an enchanted charm, others challenge us on the concept of “interior spaces”.

A group of twelve students have developed the projects as part of the USM Design Grant program. The study grant was launched by the Fondation USM to encourage innovation by rewarding a student’s project.  This competition takes place each year during the Design Days, in Geneva and Lausanne, and is granted in turn to a student from HEAD and from Ecal.

Space Duality won the FRAME Innovation Award-People’s Choice 2020.
