Alan Clerc and La Redoute: A Notable Collaboration

For its Autumn-Winter 2025 collection, La Redoute is renewing its wardrobe of Signature pieces, essential, timeless items reinterpreted by guest designers.

Among them is Alan Clerc, winner of the Prix La Redoute x HEAD Genève 2024. His work on cut and construction had captivated Sylvette Lepers, Head of Creative Partnerships & Image.

The young Swiss designer conceived a collection based on a single silhouette: a structured suit, offered in black and off-white, paired with a cream shirt.

Inspired by architecture, he played with proportions, lengthening the jacket and wide-leg trousers while creating a cinched effect that allows the garment to gracefully drape the body.

I have always had a particular love for the suit. I want to preserve this heritage of construction, articulated through creative practice, explains Alan Clerc.

The work is remarkable. This young man, who writes as well as he cuts, is as skilled a patternmaker as he is a stylist, which is very rare, emphasises Sylvette Lepers, Head of Creative Partnerships & Image at La Redoute.
