FADE

FADE is a feminine interpretation of the male denim workwear in the United States during the mining age in the 19th and 20th centuries. It focuses on mixing new denim fabric with old by deconstructing used jeans to create garments. Another life is given to the existing pieces inscribed with faded traces, a memento of the previous wearer. The collection is environmentally sustainable by utilizing second-hand clothing in addition to bringing awareness to a fabric that is a major contributor to pollution.

The collection is inspired by the history of denim : the subtle nuances of the wear and tear of miners’ workwear and the way this clothing was worn, as well as by jeans altogether. From these sources came the concept of monochrome looks, exaggerated details and a play on silhouettes. Traditional denim codes are replaced with a new vocabulary of raw and painted finishes while accessories are designed to integrate the looks. The colors scheme is built around classic denim shades and vintage finds, mixing splashes of bright orange hues referencing modern day workwear.

FADE is a vibrant tribute to the spirit of denim.
