Master TRANS– has welcomed the London artist Nils Norman for a three-day workshop at the beginning of December 2017. After presenting his work which deploys across the disciplines of public art, architecture, urban planning, ecology and alternative pedagogies, Nils Norman has proposed the students to make the experience of the city as a study tool during a walk from Boulevard Helvétique to Edicule Art Lib’ in Libellules, where Master TRANS– intervenes since 2015. In the wake of the anarchist author Colin Ward and his concept of an Exploded School which locates learning outside of the school, they have initiated an in situ and ambulatory reflection about the role of the artist in the public space.
