HEAD Exhibition and Conference at GemGenève, May 2024

May 2024

The GemGenève 2024 exhibition was a great success and an opportunity for our students to showcase their talent and creativity.
The participation of David Roux-Fouillet, head of the Jewelry and Accessories Design program, in a round-table discussion alongside a number of industry experts provided an opportunity to discuss the challenges of the jewelry design profession.

For several years now, HEAD - Geneva has been collaborating with the international GemGenève exhibition, dedicated to jewelry and precious stones. Last May, our second-year Design Bijou et Accessoires students once again had the opportunity to exhibit their creations at this prestigious event, the fruit of a workshop in partnership with the Grand Théâtre de Genève.
At the end of the exhibition, a vote was held and Danaé Carvajal won the People's Choice Award. This prize entitles her to gemmological training at SSEF in Basel, a recognition of the excellence and originality of her work. For those who were unable to attend, a replay of the awards ceremony is available here: GemGenève Awards Ceremony - Digital GemGenève (gemgeneve.com)

David Roux-Fouillet, head of the Jewelry and Accessories Design department, also took part in a talk with several other experts from the jewelry sector.
The discussion focused on the challenges of the jewelry design profession, career paths, industry developments and market trends. Aimed at students and professionals alike, the event brought together a wide range of industry players.

HEAD continues to distinguish itself on the Geneva and international scenes, offering its students platforms for expression and recognition of their talent.
