Technologies in the Textile Industry

On the occasion of Swiss President Doris Leuthard visiting China, “Innovation” is applied again as the theme of event, showing the creativity and collaboration in fashion and textile industries of both Switzerland and China.

During the event InnoFashion 2017, works of young designers from the two countries will be exhibited from May 12th to May 15th in the compound of Swiss Embassy, in partnership with HEAD – Genève and ModeSuisse for Switzerland, and Textile Library et CAFA (Académie centrale des beaux-arts) for China.
For the Fashion Design, HEAD presents two collections : "Au hasard, l'aube pourpre", BA degree collection combining knitting and sewing from Pamina Meyer, as well as the collection "The SUMMER 16-17" by Mikael Vilchez, Master Fashion and Accessories Design, which offers a return on his Latin American origins.  

For the Product Design-Jewellery, watch and Accessory, HEAD proposes pieces by Laure Tosi from her BA degree collection 2016, pieces from Sandra Plissons' BA Design Jewellery degree 2015 , and the works of alumnis Juan Sebastian Galan Bello, Aurore de Geer and Arnaud Zill. Some new works realized during the workshop "Pour une chemise" of 2nd year Bachelor students in partenership with Loewe, by Mélissa Café and Lucile Francony. As well as the glasses created during the workshop "Lunettes" in partnership with French brand Tarian©.
