Emily Joly presents "Sequenced" at TED Global Conference Genève

December 2015

"Sequenced" is the first 360-degree animated series for virtual realita (VR) headsets and mobile devices.
Depending on the user's focus on certain scenes or characters, the story takes different paths. A protoype of the project has won the Best in Play Award at the Game Developers conference in 2014 and "Sequenced" at the Sundance Festival in 2016

The Apelab team has imagined a story set in 2065, in a world where resources are running out, borders have collapsed, an humanity is slowly rebuilding itself. Raven, a young orphan, makes an unexpected discovery, and the story unfolds. The first episode of "Sequenced" will be released in 2016 along with the planned release of the virtual reality headsets HTC Vive, Oculus Rift and Samsung Gear.

The Apelab team is a spin-off HEAD – Genève (Emilie Joly, Sylvain Joly, Michael Martin and Maria Beltran are HEAD Alumni). Apelab projet was formed during there studies at HEAD - Genève and developped at the Design Incubator of the Ahead Fondation.
