Atelier Nicolas Perrottet

December 2016

Nicolas Perrottet is a Geneva-based Swiss designer born in 1984. Prior to the establishment of his eponymous Atelier in 2012, Nicolas graduated from Geneva School of Art and Design (HEAD – Genève) in 2011, while gaining experience in furniture design at Milan Polytechnic University.

The quality of his work results from a close link between the discipline of design architecture and a keen eye for diverse influences. His work ranges from scenic design and ephemeral installations to interior and furniture design.

Nicolas operates by absorbing the history of the places he reinvents, thus gaining a formidable amount of informative elements that allow him to transpose visual projections of a specific venue into new and coherent environments. However radical, his transformations are honest and free of gratuitous additions.

Furniture design participates in the process of reinventing spaces and the creation of objects aims at telling a story as well as expressing current interrogations and stream of thought.
