Nuits Balnéaires
Born in Abidjan, 1994, Nuits Balnéaires is an Ivorian visual artist based in Grand-Bassam. A key player in the Ivorian art scene, his practice oscillates between photography and lm. After his studies in Business Management, he decided to devote himself to fashion photography and collaborated with brands such as Lagos Fashion & Design Week and Vlisco and Co. In 2019, with a wealth of experience in fashion, Nuits Balnéaires settled in Grand-Bassam to develop his art. The same year, his documentation of the oods in Grand-Bassam earned him a one-year visual journalism fellowship with the World Press Photo Foundation. He thus became the 1rst Ivorian to be selected for such a coveted award. In 2020, he was one of the winners of the Cultural and Environmental responses for environmental change initiated by the Prince Claus Fund and the Goethe Institute. Searching for a deeper connection, Nuits Balnéaires has always been inspired by the energy emanating from the coast of the Gulf of Guinea and has formed an intense spiritual relationship with this landscape, hence the omnipresence of water and sea in his work. His artist name, Nuits Balnéaires, expresses the quintessence of this feeling - the space where all the natural elements take on their full power. Nuits Balnéaires creates work that transcends geographical space, creating room for our shared stories to be tld.

Hypothesis Atelier
Damien Greder graduated as an architect at the ETH in Zurich after a Bsc. at the AAM of Mendrisio. Fascinated by the social, environmental and technological outbreaks of our daily lives, Damien works on their implications for the built environment through various collaborations. Following his experience beside Francis Kéré in Berlin, he co-founded Hypothesis Atelier; a young architect collective focused on emerging countries' educational buildings. Hypothesis Atelier conceives architecture as a foundation for its inhabitants to achieve new ambitious goals. Each project seeks to radiate exponentially through the positive impact's experiences. Hypothesis Atelier's work has been remarked through diverse publications and presented at the Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanisme of 2021. Along with his practice, Damien occupies an assistant teacher position at HEAD Geneva.
