The winner of the Time to Watches Prize honored in Las Vegas

2025 Time to Watches Prize winner Suan You will be showcased at Time to Watches Las Vegas in collaboration with HEAD – Genève.
Her project, MIMU, reimagines the relationship with time through a poetic, playful object that moves between watch, jewel, and sculpture.

The future of watchmaking will also be part of Time to Watches Las Vegas.

As part of its ongoing collaboration with HEAD – Genève, Time to Watches continues its commitment to supporting the next generation of watch designers through the Time to Watches Prize.
Created in partnership with the Chair in Watch Design at HEAD – Genève, the prize rewards a Bachelor’s or Master’s diploma project that stands out for its originality, creativity, and innovative vision of watchmaking. Throughout their education, students explore every aspect of the watchmaking world – from 3D prototyping and finished product development to packaging, art direction, branding, and marketing positioning.

2025 winner, Suan You, will be showcased at Time to Watches Las Vegas with her remarkable project: MIMU.
Conceived by the young Korean designer, MIMU is a poetic object where time reveals itself through interaction and play. Hidden inside a smooth, colorful pebble, the time can only be discovered by sliding a puzzle mechanism – transforming the simple act of reading the hour into a tactile ritual of curiosity and discovery.

Neither entirely a watch nor purely an ornament, MIMU moves between identities: a bag jewel, a necklace, a small sculpture to carry close. Through this polymorphic creation, Suan You invites us to rethink our relationship with time – not as something to chase, but as something to hold.
Discover MIMU and the creative universe of Suan You during Time to Watches Las Vegas, taking place from May 27–31 at the heart of the Wynn Las Vegas ecosystem alongside The COUTURE Show.
