As part of the LUNDIS – LIVRES programme, we are pleased to invite you to a talk with Alexia Mathieu, who will present her book Habiller le jeu, jouer le vêtement.
How can digital fashion, as a field of experimentation, contribute to the invention of new forms of storytelling and interaction in video games? Beyond simple character customisation, how can game mechanics enrich the fashion experience? Habiller le jeu, jouer le vêtement invites us to consider the act of wearing virtual garments as a fully-fledged playful experience. It advocates a vision of digital fashion in which clothing is no longer a product, but a narrative, relational and introspective interface, grounded in connection, memory, attention and care, rather than in competition or accumulation.
LUNDIS – LIVRES
What are books for? What place should they occupy within an art and design curriculum? How does fiction nourish critical writing, or vice versa? And how does the book as a form itself add meaning to the ideas it conveys?
The LUNDIS – LIVRES programme offers privileged moments of exchange with figures from the fields of art and design, whose publications inform and advance practice. These public talks, lectures and workshops are open to the entire HEAD community.
