Benoît Jeannet
Born in 1991 in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, Benoît Jeannet is a multidisciplinary artist currently living and working in Berlin, Germany. Jeannet approaches the studio as a laboratory and photography as a research tool. His practice consists of protean images and objects that exist in dialogue at the intersection of contrasting elements. In a world saturated with visual stimuli, Jeannet positions himself as an operator—analyzing, deconstructing, and reorganizing the continuous flow of images. His work is built through conceptual layers that both associate and confront each other, distinguishing the represented object from the physical materiality of the image itself. Through this method, Jeannet critically examines the widespread perception of photographic imagery and its role in shaping and reflecting the dynamics of Western society.
