As part of the MIDIS PARTAGE lecture series, you are cordially invited by the Product Design, Jewellery and Accessories department to attend the lecture "Signs" by Kiko Gianocca, to be held on Monday 27 October 2025 from 11.30am to 12.30pm.

Kiko Gianocca
Born in Bellinzona in 1974, Kiko Gianocca is an artist and educator specialising in contemporary goldsmithing and jewellery. After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the CFP Art Institute in Florence in 1998, he continued his training in Barcelona. He then lived in Melbourne from 2002 to 2008, where he completed a Master’s degree at RMIT University and taught, eventually receiving an Australian government grant. Upon returning to Switzerland in 2008, he was honoured with the Swiss Design Prize, and later, the Mari Funaki Award in 2014. His work is exhibited internationally and is held in major collections, including those of the Pinakothek der Moderne, the CODA Museum, and MUDAC. He currently teaches contemporary jewellery at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts and tutors at the IED in Milan.
