As part of the “MIDIS de l'Illustration” lecture series, the Visual Communication Department cordially invites you to attend a lecture by Raman Djafari, which will be held on October 2, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Raman Djafari is an illustrator, animator, and filmmaker based in Berlin, working in both 2D and 3D. Through vibrant imagery and fragmented narratives, he builds a universe imbued with sincere emotion and unashamed fragility, populated by surreal worlds and characters that oscillate between the familiar and the fantastical.
He has directed music videos for artists across the globe, collaborating with labels such as Universal, Warp Records, and Downtown Records, as well as with clients like Adult Swim, Medium, and The New Yorker.

Represented as a director by the London animation studio BlinkInk, Raman Djafari draws on his background in illustration and design to fuel an ever-evolving artistic practice. He moves seamlessly between 2D and 3D animation and illustration, enriching each project with a unique and deeply expressive approach.
