The Creative Coding series is a collection of conversations with creative technologists, creative coders, artists, designers, and Master's students in Media Design. Here, we discuss creative coding processes, using the computer as a creative medium and delving into experimental approaches to designing new forms of human-machine interaction. 

For this fourth edition, we are happy to welcome Julian Hespenheide, Olivia Ema, and Seo Hyojung.

  For our first session, we are excited to invite Julian Hespenheide, a creative technologist and designer based in Berlin, whose work combines code, interactive installations, and experimental media to explore generative systems, hybrid interactions, and the creative possibilities of technology.

  For our second session, we are excited to welcome Olivia Ema, a London-based digital artist and creative technologist. Her work exists at the intersection of emerging technologies, motion design, and culture. 
   
• Seo Hyojung – 10 NOVEMBER 2025

  For our third session, we are excited to welcome Seo Hyojung, a South Korean digital artist and creative technologist. Her work explores the intersection of technology, everyday objects, and audience interaction. Through installations and performances, she transforms familiar objects into unique sensory experiences. Seo also teaches creative coding at the Samsung Art & Design Institute.
