Bleu extase – Vidya Gastaldon
LUNDIS - LIVRES
As part of the LUNDIS - LIVRES programme, we are delighted to invite you to a meeting with Vidya Gastaldon, to mark the publication of her book Bleu extase, published by art&fiction 2025.
1994, a rave. A young woman finds herself caught up in an initiatory experience. She discovers herself at the heart of an ocean of perceptions. Through this tale of a time when the quest for intense experiences and parties broke down social and cultural boundaries, Bleu Extase questions learned and constructed identities. The text revisits this defining moment at the end of the last century, which has been alternately thought about, forgotten, reclaimed, or squeezed dry by commercialization, but which still retains an incredible vitality. Techno is not dead, and everything remains to be done.
LUNDIS - LIVRES
What are books for? What role do they play in art and design studies? How does fiction feed into critical essay, or vice versa? And how does the form of the book add to the meaning of the subject?
The LUNDIS-LIVRES programme offers privileged opportunities for discussion with leading figures from the fields of art and design, whose works feed into and advance our practice. These meetings, conferences and workshops are public and open to the entire HEAD community.
