From 9.30 am to 7.30 pm

All the venues and practical information here

The HES-SO Geneva and its six colleges (HEPIA, HEG, HEAD, HEM, HEdS, HETS) are pooling their skills to examine the large-scale transformations taking place in the Praille-Acacias Vernets (PAV) project over an 18-month period, by means of a vast student survey involving nearly 15 disciplines, interdisciplinary residencies and a collaborative research programme.

This open-air laboratory aims to enrich the skills and practical knowledge needed for the city of tomorrow. This innovative approach is being implemented as part of the 10th anniversary of CITÉ, the HES-SO Geneva's interdisciplinary centre for the transition of cities and territories. It is being carried out in collaboration with the urban operator PAV (DPAV-FPAV-FTI) and the city of Carouge.
This exploration begins with a first journey on 17 October 2024, during the Rendez-vous de l'urbanisme:

Programme for the day:

  • 9.30am - 1.30pm: A choice of three one-hour stops in the Praille-Acacias-Vernets sector (in all weathers)
  • 2.30pm - 5.30pm: Presentations of Territoire en Recherche projects (Pavillon Sicli, Geneva)
  • From 6.00 pm: Conference and opening evening (Pavillon Sicli, Geneva)
