Nos Cabanes et Respire - Marielle Macé

LUNDIS - LIVRES

As part of the LUNDIS - LIVRESs programme, we are delighted to invite you to a talk by Marielle Macé, author of Nos Cabanes and Respire, to be held on Monday 11 November from 12.45pm to 2pm.

Marielle Macé is a writer and specialist in French literature. She is director of research at the CNRS and director of studies at the EHESS. Her books focus on understanding how we live together and inhabit the world.
Starting with Nos Cabanes (Verdier 2019), and Respire (Verdier 2023), she will address these questions that directly affect art and design, namely how to give form to what, collectively, connects us.

LUNDIS - LIVRES
What are books for? What role should books play in art and design studies? How does fiction nourish the critical essay, or vice versa? And how does the form of the book add to the meaning of the subject?
The LUNDIS-LIVRES programme offers privileged opportunities for discussion with leading figures from the fields of art and design, whose works feed into and advance our practice. These meetings, conferences and workshops are public and open to the entire HEAD community.
