« La jeune garde à l’honneur »

Exhibition at Festival du Dessin d’Arles

HEAD – Genève will be taking part in the second edition of the Festival de Dessin to be held in Arles from April 20 to May 19, 2024. A selection of works drawn by our alumni and students will be presented as part of the "La jeune garde l'honneur" exhibition.

They are young, they are talented, they are passionate: they are the future of drawing on paper and any other "real" medium, notwithstanding the upheavals of the digital revolution. For its second edition, the Festival du Dessin, with the support of Hermès, is opening its doors to students from three renowned art schools, praised for the quality of their Illustration and Printed Image sections: the École des Arts Décoratifs de Paris, with its New Imaginations of Drawing chair (the NID) launched in September 2022, the HEAD in Geneva and the HEAR in Strasbourg.
Through the theme of the body and movement, some sixty up-and-coming artists share their view of today's world, their inexhaustible inventiveness, their creative vitality and, above all, their love of drawing - vibrant and unconditional.
