Spring 2024 is off to an auspicious start for HEAD's Film Department, which is delighted with the numerous nominations and prizes awarded to its alumni.ae at the latest Swiss Film Awards.
The ceremony took place on March 22, in the presence of Federal Councillor Elisabeth Baume-Schneider:

• The Swiss Film Academy named "Blackbird Blackbird Blackberry", by Elene Naveriani, best fiction film 2024 (produced by Thomas Reichlin and Britta Rindelaub for Alva Films). The film also won Best Screenplay and Best Editing. Elena Naveriani is a graduate of HEAD's Bachelor Cinéma program. 
• The prize for Best Diploma Film went to Nathalie Berger, assistant in the Film Department, for "Chagrin Valley", made at the ZHdK.
• Finally, THE LAND WITHIN by Fisnik Maxville (alumnus Master Cinéma ECAL-HEAD) won the prize for Best Music from Nicolas Rabaeus, who teaches at HEAD.
