Opening April 28 at 5:00 pm
Kunsthaus Langenthal

We are pleased to invite you to "New Heads 2022", which presents the work of graduates of the Master of Fine Arts program at HEAD-Geneva in renowned Swiss art institutions.
This year, the Kunsthaus Langenthal has chosen to present the work of Rémy Bender.

A 2022 Work.Master graduate, Rémy explores the mythical history and topography of the Alps. His work presented in Langenthal is based on a geographical feature located near his native village in the Valais: a depression at 2000 m altitude where, according to popular belief, one could meet poor souls on their way to the afterlife. Rémy Bender made recordings there with the help of astonishing machines that he built himself and transposed into the exhibition space: a wind-operated camera, a stone projector, a solar balloon and ibex horns that produce sounds.

We invite you to discover this fascinating exhibition from April 29 to June 25 at the Kunsthaus Langenthal.
The opening will take place on Friday, April 28, starting at 5 pm.
