Talking Heads with Pierre Yovanovitch, Interior designer, Paris
In conversation with Jean-Pierre Blanc, Director of the Villa Noailles, Festival de Hyères and Youri Kravchenko, architect and professor in the department Interior Architecture.

Pierre Yovanovitch has worked all over the world on prestige building projects. His creations are known for their stripped-down and discrete architectural scope. His refined aesthetics unveils a new approach to the “made in France” luxury.

Each project is a unique work adapted to the place, the personality and lifestyle of the customers. Harmony of volumes and taut, deftly hand-drawn lines lend strength and sobriety to the interior architecture design, softened by lighting effects and the choice of authentic materials – wood, stone, marble and metal.

Yovanovitch also designs many items of furniture and lighting whose lines are transcended by highly-qualified craftspeople. In September 2017, he has presented to the general public his furniture collection “OOPS” which showcases France and Europe’s exceptional know-how and arts and crafts.

As an enlightened amateur and collector, he places significant emphasis on the role of contemporary art in his projects. He designs his interiors as beautiful settings for remarkable works or in-situ creations which are produced by established as well as up-and-coming artists.
